Catching Up.....

So it has been a year since i have added a post to this blog...a whole year!!! Man lets see what crazy things have happened to me in 07!!! I am just going to make a top ten list because there is no way i can hit everything i would be doing this all night!!

10. Dated a boy for a couple month (that did not work out!!)
9. My best friend got married (Can i say hectic!!)
8. My job decided to close its office in AZ down (Wow that sucked!)
7. Moved to St. George with my grandma (She fed me well that is for sure!!)
6. Lived in St. George for 6 months and decided i did not like it much!! (Now i am back in AZ!)
5. Still working for the same job....out of my home now!!
4. In August I hiked Havisupi with my brother (22 miles, it was insane!)
3. My Sister had a baby in October....She named him Caleb (He is a cutie!)
2. My other sister is pregnant with her second...I am beginning to fee left behind
1. I went through the temple in May (What an awesome experience!!)

So that is my top ten of what went on in 07.....i am going to try and catch up with loading all the pics...but that may take awhile!!!

Does it really have to end?

Hi Family!   So mom, you thought that last week was going to be my last email, but surprise you get ONE more! President Beesley decided to let all the missionaries email on Tuesday because of the holiday. It is interesting how different mission president's are and the things they do that are not the same at all.  We have had the pleasure of getting to know him and his wife this last week and I must say the one thing I have heard the most is "I cannot believe how much different she is from Sister Dance!" I just have to chuckle as of course they are going to be different and I am sure they will be amazing in their own way. He is a pretty achieved person from his previous life, he was a test fighter pilot so he has shown us a couple of video's of him flying F-16's and some other fighter jets. It is pretty crazy to think that is what he did and now he is a mission president.   What a great week of laboring with the lord! I love being able to serve my mission ...

Being in the right place at the right time.....listen to the spirit!!!

Dear Friends and Family,   What a wonderful week! There could not be any better way to end a week then to witness two people get baptized.  The baptism were so wonderful and to feel the spirit of both of them was great. I just love seeing both of their faces as they came out of the water and to see the light and joy in their eyes! We also had the opportunity to start teaching two new people this week. One of them is a special circumstance given from out ward. His name is Justin Tabbilos and the ward found out that he did not have a baptismal record at all even though we all thought he had been baptized. Well come to find out he was baptized in the Philippians and they never recorded it with the church and they could not track down the witnesses for the baptism either. It was pretty sad as I am sure he does not want to go through the process again. Something you said stuck with me.....

Hi Friends and Family,   This past week has been such a good week! It feels like such a bitter sweet to think that I have only two weeks left. I was saying a prayer yesterday and told my heavenly father that I would stay here another year if he would just let me. The goodness of sharing the gospel and seeing the light in people's eyes and just working each and everyday is ever so rewarding even with the trials that come right along with it. I love this work and I could not be more than thankful to the opportunities I have had to be here and to know the people of Alaska.   This week we had an experience of teaching a new person who's name is Dale, this experience was pretty neat in the way that we met. The Sunday before last we were contacting people on the ward list that we did not know to bring them back to church and were going to contact a lady named Cindy.
