Summer Trips

So finishing with the summer tales as the summer has for sure come to an end! Started school 3 weeks ago full time while doing full time work the first couple weeks where not so bad as it was just alot of reading and i was still able to play! But this last week totally killed me both my classes decided to have projects due the same week and each project took me 4 hours to complete, finding that much time felt impossible needless to say i did not have a very fun week trying to get them done!

So the last thing i did this summer wight traveling was going to Havisupia with a bunch of friends and my brothers. We left on a Wednesday night to head down there and got to the top of the canyon around 11 at night. Chad, Ulma, Fred, Randy and a girl from spain met us there. I came up with a couple friends from AZ and met them at the canyon. We decided it would be much easier to hike down at night then during the day so right after we got there we took off. About 2 miles from the village we stopped and took a nap on this huge rock, i never thought that i could sleep on a rock until that night but we all where out for about 4 hours. We got up with the sun and finished the hike down to the village. For those of you that have been to havisupia know that you have to pay at the village in order to hike down there it usually cost like 70 per person depending on the size of your group.

We met up with a group of kids from vegas and there where about 20 of us total, travis is the kid that organized it all so he went in and talked to the guy at the village he told them we had picked up trash on our way down which we did so the guy ended up letting us go down for FREE! Let's just say that was a good way to start out our trip!

We spent 2 days down there Thursday and Friday, it was a blast we hiked down to all the different water falls and jumped off the rope swings. Fred had never been down there before and he loved it, it was awesome to hang out with all my brothers. Overall we had a great time, the hike back was a little crazy there at the end as it is straight up for a mile straight! But when you get done you feel so good, i love going there! The saddest news was 2 weeks later when we got back there was a huge flood down there and washed out the whole village and changed a bunch of the falls, some say it may never be the same as the water does not flow in the same places anymore. I plan to go back next summer though and see the changes!
