Thanksgiving Trip to Vegas and Dumont

So i thought i better get my post in about thanksgiving before its Christmas! This thanksgiving was a little different than usually as we had it in Vegas at Michele's house versus going out to my mom's. I did not mind at all as it saved me from driving an extra hour to my mom's! I left AZ on wednesday afternoon so i could get there before it was dark, not sure that helped much as it poured on me almost the entire trip. There definitely was times i could barely see the road. Thursday morning i got up and helped get things ready, my mom and Michele mainly took over in that department! My whole family came in to eat with us except Joe and Tosha they took off to dumont on wednesday and spent thanksgiving there.

After eating we all did the usual afternoon nap and football for all the food to settle. Chad decided to take the kids up to the snow for a bit and when he returned we where getting ready to leave for dumont. My mom, dad, fred, scott and I where going to head up there that night. I went and picked Scott up from the airport on our way out of town as he spent thanksgiving with his fam. It was only a 2 hour drive from Vegas which was not bad at all.

When we got up there is was late so we just got ready for bed. We spent friday saturday there and left sunday morning. Our trip mainly consisted of sleeping, riding the rails, eathing and socializing with everyone at camp. On Saturday it was Mason's b-day so tosha planned a party for him and invited everyone at camp to join. We about 2 hours before it was supposed to begin we all went out with Joe for a ride including Mason. On our way back Joe's friend had us stop at this professional riders camp and we checked out his buggies they where so much money and looked way cool. We ended up staying there so we could get a ride in one of them. Joe had to take off as we where late for the party and Tosha was not to happy about that.

We ended up missing most the party to be able to get a ride on this thing. It was worth it though that thing went from 0 to 100 in a matter of seconds it was crazy. I felt like i was in a roller coster the whole time we where doing wheelis and jumping really high. That was the main highlight of out trip. Sunday morning we helped pack up the camp and then we took off. I drove my car up there so we could take off from there back to AZ. Overall we had a really good time thanks to Tosha and Joe for inviting us!!!

Hi Family!   So mom, you thought that last week was going to be my last email, but surprise you get ONE more! President Beesley decided to let all the missionaries email on Tuesday because of the holiday. It is interesting how different mission president's are and the things they do that are not the same at all.  We have had the pleasure of getting to know him and his wife this last week and I must say the one thing I have heard the most is "I cannot believe how much different she is from Sister Dance!" I just have to chuckle as of course they are going to be different and I am sure they will be amazing in their own way. He is a pretty achieved person from his previous life, he was a test fighter pilot so he has shown us a couple of video's of him flying F-16's and some other fighter jets. July and August Adventures!

Adventure O ne So i have been pretty busy this past month! It all started when i returned from my first trip yes i say my first as there is a second trip to report on from CALI! The week i got back was my b-day, well this year i decided i did not really want to celebrate my b-day because i was turning 27 and did not want to realize that i am kinda getting old...ha ha. I know I know 27 really is not that old but every year i get older i just wish i could stop! Anyhow the week before my friend Nikki called me and wanted me to do her party as our b-days are next to each other, the day she wanted to do it I was not going to be there. So she moved it to a day i was going to be in town which was nice, so we through a party at her house with some close friends. It was alot of fun, the very next day my friend whitney came back in town and suprised me by taking me out to Harry Potter and then after to Sun Splash(I think that was the one) anyhow i had a blast that day running around the water pa...

So I had these taken almost a month ago but wanted to post them. Whitney's sister does photography and wanted more photos for her site and I wanted to do personal shots as i have NO pics of myself so whit, jessica her husband and I all went out and they took pics it was a ton of fun!! Jessica took 68 pics so below are some of my favorite shots!!
