Halloween

So every year when Halloween comes around i always think to myself "oh great not another year where i have to decide if i want to dress up!" This year I decided i would dress up and make the most of it. A week or so before Halloween(still had not decided how i would dress up) Scott asked me what i was going to do. Told him i did not have a clue and asked him what he was going to be.

Well every year his work dresses up as departments and this year they where going to do Mario cart characters(the video game for those of you that do not know) Any way he was going to be Mario so he suggested i do princess peach. I remember thinking are you kidding me when i saw the picture of how i would dress up. But then he convinced me it was a good idea, so since i am such a procrastinator i bought my costume online (scott found it) and ended up having to 2 day it so it could make it here on time!

The day of Halloween Whitney and i where rushing around town trying to find the finishing pieces to our costumes(not the best idea!) Anyway afterwards when i got home Rachel and i got to work with getting ready! There was so many parties that night that we definitely had our pick. Jorin and Scott showed up and we all took pictures before we took off for the night. Our first party was the stake Halloween dance which was on top of the institute parking garage i just remember that the floor felt like it was going to collapse with all those people up there. After we headed to a house party and made our apperance long enough then it was off to Dance.

I had not been to a dance party for so long it was super fun, only down fall is the shoes i was wearing. they definitely where not dancing shoes! I ended up on the porch thing of a house with my shoes off, it was a alot of fun though. By far the best
Halloween i have had in a long time!

Hey Jennifer way cute Halloween pictures I love the costume that is a way cute idea. Sounds like you had fun. Have you gotten the juice yet? How is it working for you, I hope it is working out good. Just some hints drink it cold and shake it every time before you drink it. Anyway let me know how it is working for you.

Hi Family!   So mom, you thought that last week was going to be my last email, but surprise you get ONE more! President Beesley decided to let all the missionaries email on Tuesday because of the holiday. It is interesting how different mission president's are and the things they do that are not the same at all.  We have had the pleasure of getting to know him and his wife this last week and I must say the one thing I have heard the most is "I cannot believe how much different she is from Sister Dance!" I just have to chuckle as of course they are going to be different and I am sure they will be amazing in their own way. He is a pretty achieved person from his previous life, he was a test fighter pilot so he has shown us a couple of video's of him flying F-16's and some other fighter jets. Being in the right place at the right time.....listen to the spirit!!!

Dear Friends and Family,   What a wonderful week! There could not be any better way to end a week then to witness two people get baptized.  The baptism were so wonderful and to feel the spirit of both of them was great. I just love seeing both of their faces as they came out of the water and to see the light and joy in their eyes! We also had the opportunity to start teaching two new people this week. One of them is a special circumstance given from out ward. His name is Justin Tabbilos and the ward found out that he did not have a baptismal record at all even though we all thought he had been baptized. Well come to find out he was baptized in the Philippians and they never recorded it with the church and they could not track down the witnesses for the baptism either. It was pretty sad as I am sure he does not want to go through the process again. Something you said stuck with me.....

Hi Friends and Family,   This past week has been such a good week! It feels like such a bitter sweet to think that I have only two weeks left. I was saying a prayer yesterday and told my heavenly father that I would stay here another year if he would just let me. The goodness of sharing the gospel and seeing the light in people's eyes and just working each and everyday is ever so rewarding even with the trials that come right along with it. I love this work and I could not be more than thankful to the opportunities I have had to be here and to know the people of Alaska.   This week we had an experience of teaching a new person who's name is Dale, this experience was pretty neat in the way that we met. The Sunday before last we were contacting people on the ward list that we did not know to bring them back to church and were going to contact a lady named Cindy.
