Catching Up

So still catching up for the rest of May, the first week of May my sisters and mom decided to participate in a breast cancer walk and run. It was alot of fun, i drove home for the weekend on friday night and stayed at Micheles house. The run was in down town Las Vegas so we got up early that morning and headed there. Tosha and Ulma decided they were going to walk it and Michele and I wanted to run it, she had some friendshere as well. My mom also came with and did the walk, it was fun to all be together as girls becuase i do not get to see and spend time with them very often. Becuase i do not come visit a whole lot we celebrated mothers day and birhdays on that day as well so i could get it all in. After the race we went back to Micheles and cooked i think it was prime rib my dad always likes to go big i just remember it taking forever to cook and falling alseep while waiting for it! It was really good though! The next morning i woke up early and headed back just in time for church in AZ, over all it wsa a great trip!














A couple weekends later my friend Amanda came into town for her baby shower that i was throwing for her, this was a pretty crazy weekend for me as well. It seems like being single in the summer there is always a million things going on and you can never catch up on anything. I was supposed to be so many places but was glad to hang out with Amanda that day and throw her shower. We got up early hoping to get some pedis but it did not work out so we eneded up going after the shower to get them, when we lived together before she was married we used to go get them all the time together. The shower was alot of fun people just came and went and it was really relaxing. It was so good to see them!

how did you raise the money to do it. I want to do the 3 day here but it is like 2000 bucks!

I am guessing you are thinking of something else, we just did a 5k and it only cost us 25 a person to register and do it.

Does it really have to end?

Hi Family!   So mom, you thought that last week was going to be my last email, but surprise you get ONE more! President Beesley decided to let all the missionaries email on Tuesday because of the holiday. It is interesting how different mission president's are and the things they do that are not the same at all.  We have had the pleasure of getting to know him and his wife this last week and I must say the one thing I have heard the most is "I cannot believe how much different she is from Sister Dance!" I just have to chuckle as of course they are going to be different and I am sure they will be amazing in their own way. He is a pretty achieved person from his previous life, he was a test fighter pilot so he has shown us a couple of video's of him flying F-16's and some other fighter jets. Being in the right place at the right time.....listen to the spirit!!!

Dear Friends and Family,   What a wonderful week! There could not be any better way to end a week then to witness two people get baptized.  The baptism were so wonderful and to feel the spirit of both of them was great. I just love seeing both of their faces as they came out of the water and to see the light and joy in their eyes! We also had the opportunity to start teaching two new people this week. One of them is a special circumstance given from out ward. His name is Justin Tabbilos and the ward found out that he did not have a baptismal record at all even though we all thought he had been baptized. Well come to find out he was baptized in the Philippians and they never recorded it with the church and they could not track down the witnesses for the baptism either. It was pretty sad as I am sure he does not want to go through the process again. Something you said stuck with me.....

Hi Friends and Family,   This past week has been such a good week! It feels like such a bitter sweet to think that I have only two weeks left. I was saying a prayer yesterday and told my heavenly father that I would stay here another year if he would just let me. The goodness of sharing the gospel and seeing the light in people's eyes and just working each and everyday is ever so rewarding even with the trials that come right along with it. I love this work and I could not be more than thankful to the opportunities I have had to be here and to know the people of Alaska.   This week we had an experience of teaching a new person who's name is Dale, this experience was pretty neat in the way that we met. The Sunday before last we were contacting people on the ward list that we did not know to bring them back to church and were going to contact a lady named Cindy.
