Memorial Day Weekend and Some Lake Action


I love long weekends they are the best! Although when monday feels like a friday it is so hard to push yourself to go back to work the next day. This memorial day weekend was way fun, I pretty much spend the entire day in my swim suit. I started out with working out at the gym with my friend tatum after we met up with her roomies and all went to a BBQ at our friends house. There was so many people there, it was good times. We playes some water melan football in the pool which resulted to a punch in the face for me, it was pretty funny and did not really hurt! That was my first time playing that game, it can get pretty intense that is for sure! After getting our swim time in there and miggling it up with everyone we headed to our second BBQ which just happened to be our FHE for the night. By the time we got there i had swam so much i did not want to get in. So i just plopped down on a confy chair and chatted with peeps for most the night. It was a fun time, but the night did not end there....we ended up all playing sand volleyball afterwards it is a monday night thing we always do at the park. I love volleyball so for me it is a treat to go play each week!

The very next weekend was a pretty crazy weekend as well. I was supposed to go to cali that weekend for my good friends b-day and hang out and disney land. Becuase i did not have any PTO time with my job i ended up staying home and just hanging out with peeps. Friday night Elder Scott came and did a fireside just for out single stake it was a great fireside and he did an awesome job.

The next morning a bunch of us girls all got up at 5 in the morning to head to the lake, if you want to get good water that is when you have to go. Although this day the water was just not good no matter what time of the day it was. We got out there pretty early and got some riding in but the fun part was tubing for sure because of how choppy the water was anyway. The funniest part of the day for sure is when we were docking the boat we saw this pirate boat now when i say pirate boat i literally mean there was a pirate boat at the lake. On it was 3 guys dressed up as pirates. It was hilarious they just strolled around the lake on thier pirate boat, not sure what the purpose of it was but it gave us a good laugh that was for sure!!

Does it really have to end?

Hi Family!   So mom, you thought that last week was going to be my last email, but surprise you get ONE more! President Beesley decided to let all the missionaries email on Tuesday because of the holiday. It is interesting how different mission president's are and the things they do that are not the same at all.  We have had the pleasure of getting to know him and his wife this last week and I must say the one thing I have heard the most is "I cannot believe how much different she is from Sister Dance!" I just have to chuckle as of course they are going to be different and I am sure they will be amazing in their own way. He is a pretty achieved person from his previous life, he was a test fighter pilot so he has shown us a couple of video's of him flying F-16's and some other fighter jets. It is pretty crazy to think that is what he did and now he is a mission president.   What a great week of laboring with the lord! I love being able to serve my mission ...

July and August Adventures!

Adventure O ne So i have been pretty busy this past month! It all started when i returned from my first trip yes i say my first as there is a second trip to report on from CALI! The week i got back was my b-day, well this year i decided i did not really want to celebrate my b-day because i was turning 27 and did not want to realize that i am kinda getting old...ha ha. I know I know 27 really is not that old but every year i get older i just wish i could stop! Anyhow the week before my friend Nikki called me and wanted me to do her party as our b-days are next to each other, the day she wanted to do it I was not going to be there. So she moved it to a day i was going to be in town which was nice, so we through a party at her house with some close friends. It was alot of fun, the very next day my friend whitney came back in town and suprised me by taking me out to Harry Potter and then after to Sun Splash(I think that was the one) anyhow i had a blast that day running around the water pa...

So I had these taken almost a month ago but wanted to post them. Whitney's sister does photography and wanted more photos for her site and I wanted to do personal shots as i have NO pics of myself so whit, jessica her husband and I all went out and they took pics it was a ton of fun!! Jessica took 68 pics so below are some of my favorite shots!!
