Change

So i thought that it was about time i update my blog! i have not done it in a couple months, mainly becuase i was going on a personal blogging strike. Well at least that is the excuse i gave myself for not doing it! I have had a pretty crazy two months to say the least I can honestly say I have experienced more in these last two months, in emotional and spiritual growth than i have in a long time. I am so very thankful for the trials and experiences we are able to go through in life and the things we are able to pick up and learn from them. It always amazes me what you can walk away from when you look back on something you thought was so hard at the time you were experiencing it.

Okay enough of the deep thought reflection let's get to what i have been up to for fun! School ended the second week in May and i am so glad that it is done, i was lucky and pulled off an A in both classes i was worried about my online class but it ended good. I was considering summer school but after playing for a week i decided i just wanted to take this summer for a break and start again in the fall with a full schedule to finish up my degree.

I am just going to list the events in order as they come as i have a lot of pics and catching up first in April was my best friends whitney's b-day so I decided we would do a BBQ at my house that day to celebrate. Oddly enough her b-day was April 15th which is tax day we got to celebrate two things...lol It was fun getting everyone together and chillin and eating good food. I love her partent they have been feeding me sunday dinner for the past 6 months as i do not have family down her in AZ they are the best!

Whit blowing out the candles this was funny she kept saying there is 21 candles on this cake right?? I was like whit you are not turning 21! you are turning 23 it was to funny.

So at the end of april it get's pretty hot down here in AZ, and as you all know when it is hot it is time to spend some time in the sun! I personally am a big lake person and love to go to the lake. It it just my luck that i have friends that love to do the same thing. I would spend every weekend there if I had the oppurtunity, maybe one day i will own my own boat! Below is some fun i have had out on the lake, i have to say that tubing had torn my body up a couple times now but it is so much fun and so wroth it. I am also in love with wake boarding, i just learned to jump the wake well one side i cannot clear it but i am learning it is so much fun!

Hey isn't that what life is all about learning from your trails. I would have to say that you came out like a champ. The lake has been really fun for us to, I'm glad to see that your still able to make it out there.

Hi Family!   So mom, you thought that last week was going to be my last email, but surprise you get ONE more! President Beesley decided to let all the missionaries email on Tuesday because of the holiday. It is interesting how different mission president's are and the things they do that are not the same at all.  We have had the pleasure of getting to know him and his wife this last week and I must say the one thing I have heard the most is "I cannot believe how much different she is from Sister Dance!" I just have to chuckle as of course they are going to be different and I am sure they will be amazing in their own way. He is a pretty achieved person from his previous life, he was a test fighter pilot so he has shown us a couple of video's of him flying F-16's and some other fighter jets. Being in the right place at the right time.....listen to the spirit!!!

Dear Friends and Family,   What a wonderful week! There could not be any better way to end a week then to witness two people get baptized.  The baptism were so wonderful and to feel the spirit of both of them was great. I just love seeing both of their faces as they came out of the water and to see the light and joy in their eyes! We also had the opportunity to start teaching two new people this week. One of them is a special circumstance given from out ward. His name is Justin Tabbilos and the ward found out that he did not have a baptismal record at all even though we all thought he had been baptized. Well come to find out he was baptized in the Philippians and they never recorded it with the church and they could not track down the witnesses for the baptism either. It was pretty sad as I am sure he does not want to go through the process again. Something you said stuck with me.....

Hi Friends and Family,   This past week has been such a good week! It feels like such a bitter sweet to think that I have only two weeks left. I was saying a prayer yesterday and told my heavenly father that I would stay here another year if he would just let me. The goodness of sharing the gospel and seeing the light in people's eyes and just working each and everyday is ever so rewarding even with the trials that come right along with it. I love this work and I could not be more than thankful to the opportunities I have had to be here and to know the people of Alaska.   This week we had an experience of teaching a new person who's name is Dale, this experience was pretty neat in the way that we met. The Sunday before last we were contacting people on the ward list that we did not know to bring them back to church and were going to contact a lady named Cindy.
