Trip to Oklahoma
So at the end of September, which i cannot believe it is almost the end of October already time flies way to fast sometimes i wish i could tell it to stop! Anyhow i took a trip to Oklahoma with my friend Whitney to visit her patents. They lived out in AZ for such a long time but when jobs got bad they ended up moving to Oklahoma, i would eat every Sunday at their house so they have been like second parents to me.
The flight out there was not bad at all, I got a ton of journal writing done! We got in on a Saturday night and when i woke up i felt like i was in a movie, there was a ton of fog everywhere and all you can see is green fields from every window you would look and some trees mixed in. It is so green and looks just like out of all the movies you see, the house was older and 2 stories with a porch that looked like a wrap around in front it was cool looking. They took us around their 200 acre property after church and we saw all their cows and horses they own. They live on a ranch and have all the tools and everything, i am not sure i could do that!
We stayed there for a solid week well until Thursday, i worked during the day then would hang out in the evenings. Whitney's mom Kim made the best meals while we were there i think i gained like 10 pounds well probably not just felt like it! One night it was raining and lighting so hard it was pretty scary. They live in the middle of Oklahoma city and Tulsa so we visited both places while we where there we had a couple boys that showed us around always a plus right! We went rock climbing one night at a fun park place and bowling the next.
And the highlight of the trip was riding horses, i took a couple hours off of work so we could go for an afternoon ride. It was alot of fun they gave a chore to do of rounding up some cows from one field to the next it was so funny but fun at the same time! Over all it was a great trip!
