It is finally looking like summer!

Hi Friends and Family!
This past week has been pretty awesome! I just love doing the lord work as always and it feels like it just gets better and better. Maybe I just love it more and more and I hope to always be a part of it in my life.
We are really excited for Erica's and Kayla's baptism's this weekend. They were both going to be baptized together on Saturday but we had a slight hiccup as Mikayla as not had the opportunity to come to church more than once. So it is going to work out that her baptism will be on Sunday, we are really excited for both and them and for them to make this commitment with their heavenly father. Erica is amazing as she waited to tell her mom as she was not sure how she would react, the one thing I loved is her mom was like there is still time to change her mind as she has not made her decision. I loved that she told her that I have already made up my mind mom and I do not think you understand, it was awesome to see how strong she was. I am thankful for her and her testimony as there is opposition in all things and Satan works hard for righteous things not to happen.
I think the most exciting thing for me this week was to see our investigator Greg walk into church on Sunday. We have been teaching him for some months now and have always known he is progressing slowly. He is one of the most sincere people I have met and takes everything in and digest it. He has been reading the book of Mormon and is now praying in the way we have taught. It is amazing to see the transformation take place with someone who believed in a higher power and not necessary God and to now see him talked about his savior. He loved church and the people there as they were so kind to him. I love see the gospel change people!
Marybeth and Kristi are also doing really well. It has been a juggling act teaching them both together and then also having their daughters there at times. Misty Lewis has been such an amazing fellow shipper and has really helped in bringing them into the gospel. Helping them understand the priesthood and the necessary means of being baptized by that authority has been a challenge. We have seen their hearts soften and them come more and more receptive. We were all laughing on Friday when Marybeth asked who holds the priesthood and we gave her the example of Jason(who is Misty's husband) who was sitting in the room. The first thing she said was "so when I get baptized Jason are you going to hold me down?!" We were all laughing pretty hard as she has such a great spirit about her and I know she will get baptized soon.
Thank you for all your love and support and all that you do! I am so thankful to be a missionary and to be here in Alaska! I hope all is going well for each of you!

Love,
Sister Booth
