A New Companionship!
Here's a look at a few of the Elders in Sister Booth's District:

Here's a letter from Sister Booth:
Subject: Transfers and Training
Date: May 11, 2010
Hi Family and Friends!
So I must say it was nice talking to the family this past Sunday! I am glad to hear you are all doing well and to hear your voices is always nice, for sure. So this letter is not going to be very long, as I do need to go soon. I just wanted to write and tell you how everything is going.
Every District Meeting before we have transfers we do "Transfer Thomas." That is mission slang, which I am not a big fan of. Anyhow, it is basically guessing where we think everyone is going to be transferred. It was pretty funny, as they all thought Sister Dalton would leave and I would stay and train. Of course I thought they were all crazy on the training part, as I just was trained myself. But that was the whole district's prediction. Not sure I am a fan of doing it, because then it makes you wonder for a couple of days before it actually happens.
Well we got our calls on Monday morning and we did find out indeed they were right. I am training after all. BUT luckily, I am not training alone. Sister Dalton is training with me so we are in a trio. I was in a trio in the MTC so I do know what it is like to be in a threesome companionship, but I have a feeling it is different out in the field. I am excited though. It will be a new challenge. Sister Dalton was trained in a trio so she definitely knows what she liked and did not like with how she was trained and we have talked a lot about that.
Today we went and picked up the new missionary. Her name is Sister Yang. She is from California and is a sweet girl. I have already found a lot in common with her in regards to sports and running, which of course made me smile. I am excited to get to know her more and to learn to work together as a companionship for the next 3 weeks.
Here are the sisters in Sister Booth's Zone. She is

(The rest of the letter):
This past week we were able to have Lauri's baptism, which was such a blessing. The service went so well and President and Sister Dance were able to come down and attend. We also had a lot of support from the ward. We have a lot of investigators that are slowly progressing, which I am excited about. Oscar, who we tracted into, talked to us how he has been feeling. He said he is not ready for a baptism date, but moved forward with telling us how much it has changed his life. I loved hearing him explain how he would have never expected to be reading from the BOM and meeting with us each week, but yet here he was. He is such a great person and I know he will enter into the waters of baptism. This work is amazing and it is truly the Lord's work. Always keep Him in mind.
Well I hope you are all doing well and I love you all!!!
